Unsurprising

Because no states have been officially declared to be upsets, I am currently sitting in a room where everyone is sarcastically applauding each time they award a state to the candidate who was clearly going to win it.

West Virginia to Bush! Woooooo, yayyyy, what a surprise!
Vermont? Kerry? No way!
Nebraska split its votes 4-1 in favor of Bush because its electoral process runs differently from any other state? Oh.

Of course, I've been sarcastic as anyone, throwing my back out in sarcastic applause when New York went to Kerry.

By the way, nicely done, NY!
